Important Notice: Changes to Retail Internet Service on the Rural Connect Network
Dear Resident,
Beginning August 15, 2026, Tether Alberta will no longer provide retail internet service to residents in Red Deer County and the Village of Delburne on the Rural Connect Network.
The good news? Your internet infrastructure is not changing.
Rural Connect is committed to ensuring a smooth transition and continued reliable network service. Our team is working to make this process as smooth and efficient as possible, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.
As we anticipate a higher-than-normal volume of inquiries following this announcement, we have added additional phone lines to better assist customers during the transition.
