Urgent Notice For Former Tether Customers

If you have already arranged service with a new Retail Service Provider (RSP), no action is needed. This notice does not apply to you.

If you were previously a Tether customer and have not yet arranged internet service with a new Retail Service Provider (RSP) on the Rural Connect network, you must choose a new provider by October 5, 2026. If you do not select a new provider by this date your internet service will be shut off.

We have made multiple attempts to notify affected customers about this service change and the need to select a new Retail Service Provider. We are sharing this additional reminder to make sure affected customers are aware of the October 5th deadline and have an opportunity to arrange their new service. We have extended this deadline to the 5th so our team will be available after the weekend to help support customers through the transition and answer any questions that may come up.
